OLD SCHOOL STRIP
WORLD CLASS VENUES
Drop-In To The SeaCliff Coast
Follow the scenic coast road south and drop-in to a unique cluster of villages perched on the edge of our great land. Here the escarpment rises up to greet you, the ocean stretches out wide and brings a deep breath of relief, music drifts through an open doors and cocktails and culinary delights arrive on salt sprayed tables that have seen a lifetime of Sundays. About an hour from Sydney CBD, yet a million miles away, welcome to the SeaCliff Coast.
The SeaCliff Coast is an old school strip with world class venues and so much to keep you busy, or not busy at all — walk the cliff tops, dive into a perfect wave. Stay for a set, then another. Close enough for the afternoon — but give it the weekend, and you’ll wonder why it’s taken so long to discover.

Once here
By train. Trains run to the SeaCliff Coast from Central on the South Coast Line, all day, every day, with stops at Coalcliff, Scarborough, Wombarra, Coledale and Austinmer. A typical ride is about an hour and ten minutes on an express, a little longer on an all-stops — plenty of time to watch the city give way to the coast.
By car or motorbike. Take the Princes Highway south, turning left 8km after Waterfall towards Stanwell Park, then follow the road south as it drops you into the SeaCliff Coast — over the Sea Cliff Bridge and along one of the best stretches of coastal driving around. About an hour from the Sydney CBD.
Getting around. Once you’re here, walk, ride, bus or train between venues — it’s all close enough to do without a car. Many venues are accessible; check each venue’s site for more information.
Where to stay. Stay the weekend. There’s holiday accommodation and Airbnbs along the strip, or book straight into the Headlands Hotel. → Find a stay
